Position: Remote Teleradiologist (Independent Contractor)
Schedule: Flexible | Fully Remote
About the Role
A mission-driven healthcare organization is actively seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiologists for a fully remote teleradiology opportunity. This group delivers comprehensive 24/7/365 diagnostic imaging services across the United States and offers a stable, long-term engagement with consistent case volume and strong operational support.
This is a 100% remote, independent contractor (1099) role designed for radiologists who value flexibility, efficiency, and the ability to work from anywhere while maintaining high clinical standards.
Position Overview
The role offers flexible scheduling options, including 7-on/7-off or 7-on/14-off rotations, along with customizable shifts to fit individual preferences. Opportunities are available across daytime, evening, weekend, and overnight coverage, allowing physicians to tailor their workload and schedule.
Technology & Support
Radiologists are supported by a robust, technology-enabled environment that includes advanced PACS with integrated dictation and a fully equipped workstation with diagnostic-grade monitors. The organization provides dedicated assistance with credentialing and state licensing, as well as ongoing CME/MOC support. A responsive 24/7 IT team ensures uninterrupted workflow and efficiency.
Clinical Responsibilities
The position involves interpreting a broad range of imaging studies, including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound. Physicians will read a mix of general diagnostic and subspecialty cases across emergency, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and pediatric imaging. The workflow includes both STAT and routine studies, requiring strong turnaround time management and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology and either hold an active state license or be willing to obtain one. The ideal physician is comfortable working in a high-volume, remote reading environment and demonstrates strong communication skills along with a commitment to timely, high-quality reporting.
