You will collaborate with other skilled professionals such as social workers, psychologists, and case managers, ensuring a well-rounded approach to client care in a virtual environment. • Facilitate Group Therapy: Conduct engaging, supportive group sessions, helping clients connect, share experiences, and learn from each other's journeys.
• Provide Individual Therapy: Offer personalized, empathetic counseling tailored to clients' thoughts and feelings, focusing on developing coping strategies and actionable plans.
• Collaborate on Treatment Planning: Partner with clients to create comprehensive, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their individual needs and aspirations.
• Monitor Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
• Collaborate with an Interdisciplinary Team: Engage with a diverse team of professionals to ensure seamless care delivery, coordinate interventions, and share insights on complex cases.

This role specifically focuses on young adults experiencing mental health and mood disorders. As a counselor, you will work with individuals navigating a range of challenges, from anxiety and depression to life transitions and trauma recovery. You will provide not only therapeutic support but also hope and encouragement as clients work to achieve their goals of recovery and well-being.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment, particularly with young adult populations in residential or outpatient settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong commitment to our mission of fostering positive change.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Experience in designing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling workflows.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or techniques.

• Annual salary of USD 85,000 to 100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
