Highland Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. The LCSW will collaborate closely with families and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring the highest quality of care.

This is a remote position, allowing flexibility and the opportunity to work from home while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. As part of a detox center team, you will remain connected with other professionals while providing essential services to clients and their families. Our remote setting empowers you to manage your schedule while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.

• Conduct evaluations and comprehensive assessments of clients in detox, identifying their emotional and psychosocial needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to ensure personalized support.
• Monitor progress and outcomes as an active member of a multidisciplinary team, making adjustments as necessary to treatment plans.
• Facilitate connections between families and community resources to promote effective support systems for recovery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations governing social work practices.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and team members to foster a supportive learning and healing environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop joint strategies with families that adhere to Natural Learning Environment practices.
• Provide families with necessary skills and information that enhance their child’s development while promoting overall well-being in detox.
• Employ a coaching model and natural environment teaching approaches to effectively support family engagement.
• Adhere to established health and safety standards to protect both staff and clients.

As an LCSW with Highland Counseling Services, you will focus on a diverse population undergoing detox. Your role will be to support not only the individuals receiving treatment but also their families, providing trauma-informed care and strategies that facilitate recovery. You will address a range of issues from anxiety and depression to situational crises stemming from substance use, emphasizing a holistic approach to treatment.

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license for potential family visits and community engagements.
• Minimum of one year of direct experience working with children and families in early intervention programs.
• Strong commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices in therapy.
• Ability to easily adapt to various learning styles to address the individual needs of each child.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, allowing for the effective prioritization of multiple responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with families and team members.

• Experience in detox settings or substance abuse treatment is highly desired.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a track record of successfully implementing treatment plans.
• A background in coaching methodologies and family systems theory would be advantageous.
