• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, identifying strengths and areas of need.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to tailor interventions based on individual patient goals.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure seamless and coordinated care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, fostering informed decision-making.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for sharing and growth.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with the treatment team, incorporating patient preferences and aspirations.
• Assist patients in navigating the often-complex mental health and substance use systems, advocating for their rights and individualized needs.
• Organize and lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning conferences, ensuring continuity of care post-treatment.

The primary patient population for this role includes individuals undergoing detoxification and early recovery from substance use disorders, often compounded by co-occurring mental health challenges. The LCSW will engage with a diverse clientele, each with unique backgrounds and experiences, fostering a welcoming and understanding atmosphere that respects cultural differences and individual life stories.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, demonstrating foundational knowledge of social work principles and practices.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
