As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Delta Area Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health challenges. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will be essential in fostering a safe and inviting therapeutic environment.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• A valid and active LMHC license in the state of Florida.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation, teletherapy, and patient management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and developing personalized treatment strategies for individual and group therapy.
• Previous experience within a community health setting or integrated care model is highly desirable.
