Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize assessment tools to evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring that care is both responsive and effective.

  • Collaborate with primary care professionals to support holistic care and well-rounded health strategies.
  • Document client interactions and treatment outcomes diligently to maintain high standards of practice and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Delta Area Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health challenges. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will be essential in fostering a safe and inviting therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • A valid and active LMHC license in the state of Florida.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation, teletherapy, and patient management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
Preferred Experience
