Under the general supervision of the Application Manager with the ability to work alone on regular duties while referring appropriately to manager, the Application System Analyst is responsible for the implementation, build, enhancement, and support of business, clinical, or financial applications deployed throughout the system, following standard departmental processes, especially change control and use of the issue/request tracking system. The System Analyst should exhibit customer service skills necessary to provide ongoing telephone support for end users. Position entails working directly with Oracle Cerner technology(s) to build solutions and integrate medical/communication devices to the EMR.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Education & Knowledge: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of healthcare IT experience, including proven hands-on Oracle Cerner build experience.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HL7 interfaces and working knowledge of Oracle Cerner iBus technology required.
