Job Description

About the role:

In this role you will lead the commercial pricing platform for assessment, selection, and implementation of an enterprise price-setting and contract compliance platform that enables governed pricing execution across BD's commercial systems. You will ensure that the pricing governance frameworks are correctly translated into systems capabilities and integrated across commercial systems.

You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end deployment, configuration and integration of the pricing platform across CPQ, ERPs and related commercial applications delivering a scalable enterprise pricing capability.

In addition you will support the post-go-live phase ensuring that the pricing platform is adopted and effectively used across regions, business units through operational support, training, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

Program & Vendor Delivery

  • Lead business case development, vendor evaluation (RFI/RFP), and proof-of-value assessments for enterprise price-setting and compliance platforms.

  • Drive MVP design, pilot deployment, and global rollout while ensuring structured release management and change control.

  • Coordinate system integrators and cross-functional stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, and IT.

Price Setting & Governance Enablement

  • Support systemic configuration of price architecture including list, target, and floor price guardrails, with corridor logic across segments and markets.

  • Integrate pricing guardrails and contract compliance (supporting chargeback, rebates administration) into CPQ workflows to enforce systematic approval of thresholds and exception management.

Deployment & Post go-live support

  • Ensure successful deployment, adoption and operational stability of the enterprise price setting and contract management platform establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to measure progress of implementation and adoption of the platform post go-live including the tracking of operational issues.

  • Define and track platform performance metrics, including system utilization, workflow compliance, exception handling, operational stability.

  • Lead the training delivery to regional and BU pricing and com ops teams on platform functionality, governance workflows and system usage.

  • Coordinate with IT, vendors and system integrators to address system issues, improvement and report updates on these.

Leadership and Employee Development

  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team with the ability to lead in a matrixed environment to expand capabilities

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 8 years of experience in pricing technology, commercial systems, or CPQ implementations

  • Proven delivery of enterprise price-setting or contract compliance platforms integrated with CPQ and ERP systems.

  • Hands-on experience with pricing guardrails, price corridors, approval workflows, and contract eligibility logic.

  • Familiarity with GPO/IDN constructs, GLN standards, chargebacks, and rebate administration processes.

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs and managing vendor/system integrator relationships.

  • Strong data literacy across ERP, CRM, and pricing data environments, with experience using Power BI or similar tools for pricing performance monitoring.

  • Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across matrix organizations.

  • Adept at both hands-on, detail-oriented tasks and strategic, big picture thinking with a strong emphasis on process orientation and improvement

  • Excellent project and time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

  • Action oriented individual who is highly proactive at solving problems and obtaining results

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • Experience in MedTech, Life Sciences, or B2B industries
