Best Care Therapeutic Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a full-time remote therapist. This position allows for a fully remote work setting, enabling our therapists to deliver care from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining flexibility. Our work hours are structured to promote work-life balance, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, focusing on mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.
• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into consideration individual needs, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively help clients overcome their challenges.
• Facilitate psychoeducation for clients and their families, offering insights into mood disorders, treatment options, and personalized self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans based on their responses to therapy and any changing needs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to client care.
• Keep abreast of the latest research in mental health practice, particularly regarding mood disorders, to enhance treatment methodologies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster clinical skills and share best practices.
• Actively advocate for clients, fostering understanding and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

Your primary focus will be individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, including different variations of depression and anxiety. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding these mental health issues and a compassionate approach to treatment. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of a wide range of clients, providing them with the tools and support necessary for recovery and management of their conditions.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrist colleagues.
• Demonstrated success in achieving favorable treatment outcomes with clients suffering from mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for building rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Experience working in a community health clinic or outpatient psychiatric practice.
• Familiarity with digital health platforms and remote therapy modalities.
• Proven history of developing and implementing successful treatment strategies specifically for mood disorders.
