• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health conditions, strengths, and needs effectively.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address patients' unique challenges.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to implement coordinated care strategies, ensuring all aspects of the patient's health plan are addressed.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and medication management to empower informed decisions.
• Provide individualized sessions, group therapy, and family therapy using specially tailored evidence-based modalities.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, aligning with patient goals and preferences.
• Guide patients through the complexities of mental health services, advocating for their rights and ensuring their voices are heard.
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions and therapeutic group workshops to promote community understanding and social support.
