Our ambition? To foster the academic and professional success of young people through support programs: mentoring, group activities, and academic support.

We believe that every young person, regardless of their social or geographic background, can achieve their goals if they are informed, supported, and equipped. That's why we develop actions that combine individual and collective support, in connection with committed volunteers from the world of work.

We believe in a society where social inequalities no longer weigh on the academic and professional paths of young people.

But there is still a long way to go. That's why we are looking for committed individuals to join us in this great adventure of supporting young people.

Since our creation in Saint-Denis in 2002, we have grown: we are now more than 50 employees, present in about thirty cities in France, and we have accompanied more than 10,000 young people in their academic and professional journey.

At Proxité we think big: 3,000 young people supported in 2025 thanks to a committed team in all corners of France.

To help us meet this challenge, we are looking for a person ready to commit to help us develop our actions in Lyon.

More Details About The Missions…

Attached to the Regional Delegate, and within a team of 2 employees and 1 apprentice, the person in skills sponsorship will carry out a mission of support to territorial development, mainly in the Lyon area.

  • 1/ Support for the deployment of mentoring projects
  • Recruit and register young people and volunteers, and carry out the matching of pairs.
  • Support the pairs: training of volunteers, provision of adapted educational resources.
  • Monitor the pairs: regular exchanges with young people, families, mentors, balance at the end of the journey.
  • Organize workshops, events, cultural outings, company visits, discovery of professions meetings…, and participate in mobilizing the pairs on these actions. Mainly in the Lyon area, but may be extended to other sites of the team for more sharing: Valence and Romans-sur-Isère.
  • 2/ Animation of the associative life
  • Participate in the recruitment of volunteer mentors (calls for volunteers, events, testimonials…).
  • Animate the community of mentors (welcome training, exchanges between volunteers, newsletter).
  • Contribute to the local visibility of Proxité (events, partnerships, communications).
  • 3/ In a second time : prospecting and development of the activity
  • Participate in the search for partners (companies, associations, local authorities…) in connection with the Mentoring Managers and the Regional Delegate (notably through participation in presentation appointments of Proxité).
  • Contribute to the representation of Proxité during local events (forums, conferences, fairs…).

The missions may evolve or be supplemented according to the needs of the territory and your preferences.

Contract: Skills sponsorship long term Availability: Long term mission (minimum 12 months), full time or part time from 50% Start: September 2026 Workplace: Lyon, staggered hours to be expected 1 to 2 evenings per week (12:30-20:00), travel in the region or to the Ile-de-France area to be expected, remote work possible 2 days/week.
