CenCal Mental Health Clinic is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). This full-time role comes with the flexibility of a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to provide essential mental health services. The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition, we are offering a hire-on bonus to welcome our new team member.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at CenCal, you will be entrusted with various responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating tailored treatment plans, including crisis management strategies and medication treatment outlines.
• Documenting client interactions and treatment updates promptly to meet regulatory compliance standards.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools as recommended by your clinical team to ensure optimal client assessments.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement positive behavior support plans for clients requiring behavioral interventions.
• Engaging actively in licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to organizational quality and best practices.
• Representing our clinic in interactions with state agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment in our service delivery.
• Establishing and nurturing relationships with local and state agencies to identify and secure partnerships and funding opportunities.
• Participating in professional development activities, including attending relevant conferences and meetings to stay current in the field.
• Advocating for and integrating the agency’s mission and values into daily practice.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and client care.

In this role, you will work with diverse populations facing various mental health challenges, including those recovering from substance use disorders, individuals with developmental disabilities, and clients navigating housing and living situations. Your interventions aim to empower clients, allowing them to engage in their communities and foster personal growth.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field.
• A valid and independent LPCC License issued by the state of California.

While a minimum of one year of professional counseling experience is required, candidates with additional experience in telehealth counseling, crisis intervention, and working with diverse populations will be highly regarded.
