In this remote role, you will have the flexibility to conduct counseling sessions from your home office while being part of a supportive and dynamic virtual team. Our outpatient model allows you to connect with clients via secure telehealth platforms, providing convenience and comfort for both you and the clients we serve. You'll be equipped with state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and case management, enhancing your focus on client care.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand clients' challenges, strengths, and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique mental health needs of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to guide sessions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and others relevant to the client’s context.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in adherence to HIPAA guidelines using our EHR system.
• Offer continuous support by teaching clients effective coping strategies and resilience-building techniques.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and refer clients for additional services when necessary, fostering an integrated approach to care.

Your work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily focus on diverse adult populations experiencing a range of mental health issues. Clients may seek help for substance abuse disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. You will play a pivotal role in providing culturally competent care that respects each individual's background and unique circumstances, helping them navigate their challenges towards healthier outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in the state of California.
• At least two years of hands-on counseling experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health record tools and a solid understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven crisis intervention abilities to connect with clients and provide effective support.

• Experience in providing telehealth counseling services, particularly in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities specific to populations experiencing substance use challenges or severe mental health disorders.
• A background in working with integrated care models or interdisciplinary teams.
