• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to determine the mental health needs of clients, subsequently developing tailored treatment plans to meet individual goals.
• Provide short-term individual therapy and crisis intervention, employing evidence-based practices to assist clients dealing with various mental health challenges.
• Lead and facilitate therapy groups and workshops focused on enhancing mental health and well-being, addressing relevant topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and resilience building.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, support staff, and community organizations to deliver holistic and integrated care to clients, ensuring a seamless support system.
• Engage in outreach efforts and public awareness campaigns to promote mental health literacy and foster a supportive community environment.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, compliant with ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring the proper documentation of all interactions and treatment plans.

As a therapist at Vita Wellness, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. We are dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique circumstances of each client, promoting individualized care that celebrates their strengths and respects their challenges.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted state license as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, a Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of key mental health issues facing a diverse range of patients, particularly in outpatient or remote settings.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement and collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities suitable for individual and group counseling.
• Ability to navigate a busy remote practice, managing a diverse caseload while prioritizing client needs effectively.

• Previous experience in outpatient counseling, particularly within a remote setting, is highly desirable.
• Exposure to team-based care models or multi-disciplinary approaches in mental health is a plus.
• Experience in leading group therapy or workshops that focus on wellness and mental health-related themes.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapeutic tools is advantageous, enabling effective and engaging client sessions.
