Job description

About the Company:

At Rezilient, we're redefining primary care by making access to healthcare more convenient, timely, and seamless. Our innovative CloudClinic model combines virtual provider visits with cutting-edge technology to create a personalized digital healthcare experience that puts patients at the center of their care. By streamlining care delivery and continuously expanding specialty services, we empower our care team to focus on patient well-being while providing the most comprehensive and accessible care possible.

About the Role:

We're looking for an IT professional with deep technical expertise and a proven track record of designing, scaling, and securing complex infrastructure. In this senior role, you'll serve as a technical subject matter expert - supporting the architecture and operational health of the technology that powers our CloudClinics and enabling us to grow at a rapid pace. You'll go beyond day-to-day support to proactively identify systemic improvements, execute on cross-functional initiatives, and ensure our tech stack is scalable and secure as we continue to grow.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, has strong opinions on how systems should be built while maintaining a sense of adaptability, and can balance hands-on technical work with strategic thinking, you'll be a great fit. Please note that our ideal candidate will be based in St. Louis, Indianapolis, or North Carolina. This role requires routine travel both to our HQ in St. Louis, MO and to new clinic locations to ensure a smooth go-live. If you are based in St. Louis, you'll work at our HQ in Webster Groves. If you are based in Indianapolis or North Carolina, you'll primarily work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the architecture, configuration, and continuous improvement of networking and device management infrastructure across all Rezilient CloudClinics and staff environments, in close collaboration with the Sr. IT Manager.
  • Contribute to device and application provisioning strategy, including helping design and implement MDM policies and standardized imaging processes under the direction of the Sr. IT Manager.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis and partnering with the Sr. IT Manager on long-term remediation for recurring problems.
  • Execute end-to-end CloudClinic deployments in new markets across the US, including site readiness assessments, hardware staging, QA testing, and go-live support, in partnership with the Sr. IT Manager and Operations team.
  • Design and implement automation solutions that help reduce manual operational overhead and improve the scalability and reliability of the CloudClinic tech stack.
  • Manage remote monitoring and observability tools for CloudClinic IT infrastructure across all US regions.
  • Implement and uphold IT security best practices, including endpoint security, access control policies, and vulnerability management.
  • Assist in evaluating technology vendors and service providers and help manage ongoing relationships and engagements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure IT infrastructure work aligns with evolving business needs, surfacing risks and recommendations to the Sr. IT Manager as needed.
  • Collaborate and knowledge-share with other members of the team to encourage departmental cohesiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related technical discipline, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Strong experience with Linux, macOS, and Windows environments at an administrative level.
  • ITIL v4 certification or equivalent experience with ITIL-based service management practices is highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in computer and networking hardware, including routers, switches, modems, access points, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN configuration, and network security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Google Workspace administration.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in shell/bash scripting and Python for automation and tooling - required.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and security concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with endpoint security tools and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA compliance considerations) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous, high-impact issues independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

This opportunity offers the chance to shape the future of healthcare in a culture where your ideas and contributions have a meaningful impact on the organization's future. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative, and diverse team, with competitive compensation and benefits that include generous PTO, paid family leave, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as stock options and a 401(k).
