Job Description
  • Will eventually oversee a team of Internship Coordinators in developing internship processes, procedures and new programs.
  • Interviews prospective interns and determines the best department for them to work in.
  • Develops learning objectives and goals with each intern.
  • Manage intern performance and evaluations while ensuring compliance with all university academic requirements.
  • Reply to emails from interns' webmail box.
  • Acts as a liaison between the interns and the different ARO departments they are working in.
  • Act as a resource for interns to answer any questions they have throughout their internship.
  • Collaborate with leadership, including the Global Executive Director, to ensure program compliance.
  • Identifies intern training needs.
  • Provides administrative support.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Attend ARO Company Meeting the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST.
  • Lead 1:1 meetings with interns during initial training and meetings as needed thereafter to include the possibility of team meetings.
Qualifications
  • Must be available to volunteer 10+ hours/week 
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in developing internship processes and an internship program.
  • Supervisory experience and leading a team.
  • A true team player who loves brainstorming with others and celebrating collective wins.
  • Experience in reviewing and/or developing training content.
  • Highly proficient in English with a proven track record of clear written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • US-based or in a similar time zone nearby.
  • This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).
