Job description

The Regional Field Support Manager leads and supports a team of Diagnostic Imaging Field Support Representatives (FSR) to provide excellent customer experience.

The veterinarians that use these tools rely on Field Support Representatives (FSR) to teach them how to make the best use of these analyzers, products, services, and software through education.  

This team supports the Western 1/3 of the U.S and this position can be based in  CA, WA, OR, UT, ID, AZ, TX, CO, MO, KS with close proximity to a major airport.

In this role:

  • You will develop the team and provide ongoing coaching to drive performance.
  • You will collaborate with field partners to identify opportunities and manage a region towards a common goal.
  • You will implement strategies to achieve quarterly commercial goals.
  • You will coordinate resources and help employees with territory management to support customer loyalty and growth.
  • You will be an advocate for internal and external customers and acts as a mediator to establish strong relationships.
  • You will adhere to and model the IDEXX Purpose & Guiding Principles.
  • You will contribute to the development of operating policies & procedures and incorporate other improvements based on evaluation of existing procedures and business needs.
  • You will facilitate relationships between field partners and field support representatives and act as the liaison to enable strong collaboration.

What you need to succeed:

  • Have the ability to travel 50%
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience, preferably leading remote field service teams
  • Ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders. This is essential due to working on a variety of projects – it’s essential your strengths lie with influencing, planning and coordinating.
  • You have fantastic customer service skills including discovering and exploring customers’ needs, experience working with customers and maintaining good customer relationships.
  • You have strong management skills and have the ability to give developmental feedback in a coaching environment.
  • Organization, time management & the ability to prioritize are fundamental foundations to the success of this position moving forward.
  • You’re a natural communicator with an inspirational style of working. You enjoy working with people and have the ability to build instant rapport.

  • Base annual salary target: $85000- $100000 (yes, we do have flexibility if needed)
