Calm Crest Diagnostic and Counseling, LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional mental health services to individuals and families within a hospice care setting. • Conduct comprehensive virtual psychosocial assessments to identify the strengths, needs, and goals of individuals and families in hospice care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to clients' unique circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques suitable for addressing the psychological aspects of grief, anxiety, and depression that often accompany end-of-life scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare personnel to deliver coordinated and effective care for clients.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of clients, ensuring access to essential community resources and support services relevant to hospice care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and quality care delivery.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development sessions to continuously enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.

You will work primarily with individuals utilizing hospice services, many of whom are dealing with terminal illnesses and complex emotional challenges. The client population represents a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, necessitating a commitment to cultural competence and an understanding of varied grief processes. Providing sensitive support tailored to their needs will significantly impact their overall quality of life during challenging times.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience delivering clinical social work services, preferably in a healthcare or hospice environment.
• Strong proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A deep commitment to ethical practice, cultural competency, and social justice in care delivery.

• Experience working within hospice or palliative care settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Proven capability in navigating insurance and billing processes to facilitate seamless client care.
