JOB SUMMARY

TheSeniorAnalyst,Deployment Support Resource -FABSwillplay a critical role inprovidingsupportto enablethe successful deployment ofthe Project Lightyearinitiative.Project Lightyearis a multi-year effort toreplaceMarriott'sfinancialapplicationecosystemwithastate-of-the-artOracle Cloud Fusionfinancial system.

TheSeniorAnalyst,Deployment Support Resource -FABSwill act as a key contributorthroughoutthebuild, testing, and deployment phases of Project Lightyear.Thisrole willbe responsible fortasks including providingboth functional and technicalsupportrelating to global hotel reports and processes,monitoringand triaging group mailboxes,as well asgathering and analyzing data to support specificobjectives.The candidatewillsupportsystem/processdocumentation, data organization, processimprovementand transitionof multiple financialsystems.

Expected Contributions

  • MonitorPG&A group mailboxestoaddressrequests and questions,escalating as needed, andensuringtimelytriage and resolution.

  • Review, test, andassistwith the productionmigration ofreportsinPeopleSoft,Hyperion,andother related financial systems.

  • Review and testupdates to global hotel business plan related files owned by PG&A.

  • Support the review and updating ofreportinghierarchies ownedby PG&A.

  • Assistwith performingandoptimizinghotel chart of accounts audits.

  • Work collaboratively and directly withPG&A, the other areas of FABS, andbusinessassociatesto understand and translate business needs andtodevelopappropriateactionplans.

  • Document issues, workarounds, and updates toPG&Ajob aids for supportedprocesses.

  • Participate as needed in support calls, readiness reviews, and cutover planning sessions.

  • Identifyand/orimplementidentifiedprocess improvements.

  • Extractdata frommultiple datasourcesthenuseappropriate toolstotransformclean, and restructurethe data as needed.

  • Leverage Power BItoeffectively visualizedatatosupportcommunicatedobjectives.

  • Analyze data toidentifypatterns and anomalies

  • Report to two supervisors that will coordinate the work needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (4-year) from an accredited university preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, technology support, operations, business systems, or a related discipline preferred,demonstratingprogressive growth anda track recordof exceptional performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and communicateissue detailsclearly in real time.

  • Proven customer support leadership experience with a global scope and mindset.

  • Experienceparticipatingin large-scale deployments, rollouts, or cutover events.

  • Knowledge of Marriott's financial business processes and hotel finance operations.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects.

  • Ability to persuade and motivate stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals andobjectives.

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft GL/EPM or Hyperion tools preferred.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly and concisely.
