As a Financial Consultant, you will get to facilitate forecasts and analyze trends in membership, revenue, medical costs, and other areas of the business.  You will also get to present reporting and analysis to business and finance leadership. You will research economic progressions to assist with the organization's financial planning and present your findings and recommendations to management.  You will also have responsibility for budget planning and process support.  


You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis
  • Perform monthly close analysis to facilitate understanding of monthly results against the financial plan
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate investment opportunities and cost savings initiatives to maximize resources and create efficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage business relationship on behalf of the broader Finance organization and Leadership
  • Leverage technology and carry out process improvement activities

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience
  • Progressive financial work experience
  • Advanced or higher level of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
  • Proven solid financial, analytical, and business acumen
  • Proven ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to business opportunities
  • Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven solid interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
  • Proven ability to build solid relationships at all levels of the organization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA
  • 1 years of supervisory experience
  • Project management or process improvement experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
