Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a full-time HR Generalist. This work from home position supports daily people operations by assisting with on and offboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance to keep the organization running smoothly.
Ansible is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.
Responsibilities
  • Provides day-to-day consultation and support to employees regarding various inquiries and policy-related questions.
  • Manages and maintains employee personnel files, including creating new hire files, and updating records throughout their employment to ensure required documentation is collected and stored appropriately.
  • Assists in gathering and maintaining required leave documentation records; monitor return-to-work dates and status updates.

  • Gathers data and provides reports for Operations and HR teams related to leaves and absenteeism.
  • Leads the offboarding process for employees including preparing and distributing separation documents, coordinating final pay, updating HRIS system and coordinating the return of equipment as needed.
  • Assists in managing employee medical and retirement plan enrollments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of elections, changes, and terminations. Coordinates with internal and external teams to resolve any issues.
  • Assists with employment relations matters regarding attendance issues, performance concerns, and interpersonal conflicts/disputes.
  • Completes employment verifications in a timely manner, including responding to requests from third-party agencies, government entities, and financial institutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of previous Human Resources experience required.
  • Previous experience supporting multiple locations / multiple states required.
  • Previous government contracting experience preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations. CA experience a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • No sponsorship available

All candidates must be able to:
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
