Job description

Bridgecross, LLC is seeking an experiencedPart-Time HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle.


The ideal candidate will have at least five years of progressive HR experience, strong hands-on experience with BambooHR, and demonstrated experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, benefits administration, and offboarding.


This individual should be able to work independently, advise management, improve HR processes, and serve as a knowledgeable HR resource and mentor.


Experience supporting a federal government contractor, small business, and multi-state remote workforce is highly preferred. Veterans, military spouses, and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, sourcing, resume screening, interviews, offers, and hiring coordination.
  • Administer and maintain BambooHR, including employee records, recruiting, onboarding/offboarding workflows, reports, forms, and documentation.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including employment documentation, background checks, orientation, exit activities, and company property return.
  • Support employee relations, including workplace concerns, manager coaching, documentation, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with performance management, employee reviews, coaching, and goal-setting.
  • Support HR compliance for a multi-state remote workforce and help maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready employee records.
  • Assist employees with benefits, leave, enrollment, and qualifying life event questions.
  • Review and improve HR policies, procedures, SOPs, forms, templates, and checklists.
  • Provide HR guidance and mentoring to management and internal personnel supporting HR activities.
  • Track key HR and recruiting metrics and recommend process improvements.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional HR experience.
  • Hands-on experience with BambooHR.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
  • Experience with onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal government contractor HR experience.
  • Experience supporting a multi-state remote workforce.
  • Experience in a small or growing business.
  • Benefits and leave administration experience.
  • Experience creating or improving HR policies and procedures.
  • HR mentoring, coaching, or management advisory experience.

This is a part-time remote position. The selected candidate should be available during normal business hours as needed to support employees, recruiting activities, and company leadership.
