We're looking for an experienced HCM Payroll Account Manager who is passionate about building client relationships, solving problems, and helping businesses maximize the value of their payroll and HCM technology. Location: We are seeking an onsite team member in the Albany, NY area whenever possible. For exceptional candidates, we are open to remote employment for individuals residing in AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, WY or other locations within New York State (outside of New York City).

What You'll Do

As an HCM Payroll Account Manager, you'll serve as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of business clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their customer journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of business clients.
  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently while providing proactive client support.
  • Provide guidance and training on payroll, HR, time & labor, and HCM software functionality.
  • Configure payroll components including earnings, deductions, garnishments, levies, and other payroll settings.
  • Research and resolve payroll, tax, HR, and system-related questions.
  • Partner closely with the Implementation team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to maximize the value of GTM's HCM products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Document client interactions and communicate service trends, concerns, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with accountants, bookkeepers, HR professionals, insurance brokers, and other client contacts.
  • Represent GTM professionally while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and retention.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who enjoys helping clients succeed and has both the technical aptitude and customer service mindset needed to manage complex payroll accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
  • Previous experience supporting clients using an HCM or payroll platform.
  • Experience processing payroll for multiple clients.
  • FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.
  • Experience with the isolved platform is a plus.
