We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist/Payroll Processor to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that the human resources and payroll departments operate smoothly and efficiently, providing maximum value to the company and all employees. Your responsibilities will include organizing training opportunities, onboarding new employees, administering employee benefits, and implementing company HR policies. The ideal candidate is an excellent problem-solver with strong verbal and written communication skills, experience using ADP, and being a committed team player.  
  •  HR Responsibilities  
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process 
  • Onboard new employees 
  • Administer compensation and benefits 
  • Educate employees on HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation 
  • Assist in performance management tasks 
  • Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management 
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Payroll Responsibilities 
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP RUN  
  • Review and validate payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments  
  • Corrections and updates to payroll data via ADP Time & Attendance prior to payroll run 
  • Maintain payroll records and employee information within ADP RUN  
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations  
  • Process new hire, termination, and employee change information  
  • Review payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies  
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner  
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting  
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field 
  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or related position 
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources policies and labor laws 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases 
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
