We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep Energy and Utilities domain expertise, particularly with Customer Service Systems (CSS) and utility billing environments. In this role, you will partner with business, technology, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze requirements, improve workflows, and support system and process alignment for a utility client.

In this role, you will:

  • Gather, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional business and user requirements.
  • Translate requirements into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and support business review and approval.
  • Evaluate business needs, identify potential solutions, and surface issues, risks, and dependencies based on a strong understanding of business processes and system capabilities.
  • Identify project interdependencies, communicate requirement and scope impacts, and help drive issues to resolution.
  • Analyze workflows collaboratively to identify gaps, abnormal processes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with and cross-functional teams to coordinate meetings to review system dependencies, business impacts, and team alignment.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience, including hands-on work with Customer Service Systems (CSS); Customer/1 (C1) experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the utilities industry.
  • Strong understanding of CSS and billing processes, with the ability to align system capabilities to business needs.
  • Proven experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and creating process maps.
  • Familiar with Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative, and cross-functional consulting environment.
