Job Summary:
LifeLabs Learning is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant/Account Executive to join their team in an end-to-end sales role. In this position, you will guide organizations from first engagement through long-term partnership including generating new business, converting prospects into clients, and growing existing client relationships through thoughtful rebooking and expansion. You will act as a trusted learning and development (L&D) advisor, helping clients transform their workplaces into practice labs for life's most useful skills. This role blends pipeline development, consultative selling, portfolio management, and account growth, with a strong focus on client impact and relationship-first sales.
This is a fully remote position with flexibility on candidate location and preference for candidates located in New York Metropolitan Area or San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Development & Opportunity Generation - Proactively identify, engage, and nurture sales opportunities across both new and existing clients, building a healthy, forward-looking pipeline.
    • Build consistent pipeline to hit your quarterly and annual target. Own your number. You don't wait for discovery calls to land on your calendar, you are consistently prioritizing strategic prospecting to help build the pipeline you need to hit your target.
    • Leverage the tech stack you have access to (ZoomInfo, Hubspot, Gong) to actively prospect into potential accounts.
    • During discovery, cultivate relationships with target buyers using a deeply diagnostic first, consultative approach, positioning yourself as a trusted L&D expert.
    • Understand prospective and existing clients' unique needs, goals, challenges, org culture, and structure, tailoring solutions accordingly.
    • Partner with Marketing, and internal teams to optimize lead generation, uncover expansion opportunities, and refine sales strategies.
    • Analyze sales data, pipeline health, and client feedback to inform business development and account planning.
    • Build expertise in your assigned portfolio, including trends, challenges, and opportunities influencing buying decisions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM (HubSpot) data to support learning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Client Rebooking, Expansion & Portfolio Management - Inspire trust, spark delight, and create confidence that a LifeLabs partnership will deliver meaningful impact - from first sale through rebooking and expansion.
    • Lead discovery, follow-up, and rebooking conversations as a keen diagnostician, thoughtful partner, and L&D subject-matter expert.
    • Propose (and close) thoughtful, simple solutions that meet client needs and lead to initial bookings, renewals, and additional engagements.
    • Consult clients on improving program effectiveness (e.g., satisfaction, attendance, learning retention, and impact on organizational goals).
    • Follow up after programs to assess success, gather insights, and identify future opportunities.
    • Serve as primary point of contact through Onboarding and active program management, cross-functionally collaborating with Client Success and Facilitation
    • Lead impact calls, drive rebookings, and account expansion conversations
    • Collect and maintain high-quality data across your portfolio to power strong client and business decisions.
    • Review HubSpot metrics independently and with your Manager to support ongoing growth and development.
  • Client Communication & Professional Excellence - Deliver seamless, responsive, and high-quality client experience across all stages of the relationship.
    • Respond to client and prospect communications within 24 hours (or sooner when appropriate).
    • Send all materials on time and with accuracy (e.g., learning journeys, proposals).
    • Show up to all calls and meetings on time and send follow-up materials when promised.
    • Lead virtual and in-person meetings with strong preparation, professionalism, and presence (reliable tech, distraction-free setup).
    • Represent LifeLabs with clarity, warmth, authority, energy, and playfulness.
  • Networking & Event Representation - Support business development and relationship growth through thoughtful external representation.
    • Attend key account meetings, Culture Club, conferences, partner events, and networking events within your assigned portfolio.
    • Leverage events to generate new opportunities, deepen relationships, and follow up with leads and clients post-event.
    • Prepare thoroughly by researching attendees and client history and ensuring strong virtual or in-person setups.
    • Showcase the value of LifeLabs offerings, elicit "aha moments," and create space for dialogue and questions.

Success Metrics
• Meet or exceed sales targets with a full-cycle portfolio of new and returning business.
• Maintain healthy pipeline coverage (e.g., 1.5x-2.0x, depending on segment and time horizon).
• Achieve strong deal efficiency and rebooking performance (e.g., target rebooking rate of ~60%).
• Demonstrate clear articulation of client goals, outcomes, and rebooking rationale.
• Consistently receive strong client feedback and satisfaction scores.
• Maintain high data quality and pass internal observations with a learning-oriented mindset.
Experience Requirements:
• Sales Experience: At least 3 years of overall sales experience, including at least 1 year of B2B experience.
• Executive Sales: Experience selling to Directors-level and higher roles.
• Track Record of Success: Demonstrable success with an individualized methodology. Can confidently articulate their personal process for achieving results.
Strongly Preferred Experience:
• Experience selling to HR and Learning & Development (L&D) leaders.
• Background in L&D or a related industry.
