Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW in our detox center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to determine the specific needs and challenges of each patient.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Administering various therapeutic interventions that align with each patient's treatment goals, ensuring adaptability to their unique circumstances.
• Maintaining detailed and timely clinical documentation to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations while contributing valuable insights for ongoing care.
• Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to participate in case consultations, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall patient outcomes.
• Engaging with patients and their families through educational sessions that promote understanding of mental health and available community resources.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in therapeutic techniques to further enrich your practice and client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily serve individuals undergoing detoxification and managing various mental health disorders. The diverse patient population ranges widely in terms of age, background, and mental health needs. Your role is crucial in supporting their recovery journeys and helping them regain control over their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong academic foundation.
• A valid and active License to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia, demonstrating your professional qualifications.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, ideally focused on providing psychotherapy services in a similar environment.
• Extensive knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy methods and an ability to implement these techniques effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in substance use treatment or detoxification programs is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, reflecting the importance of your role and expertise.
