The Talent Research Partner plays a critical role in supporting EEI's continued growth by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with top technical and professional talent across the organization. This role focuses primarily on talent research, sourcing strategy, and pipeline development while partnering closely with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Partners to support EEI's hiring initiatives.


This position is ideal for someone who is highly proactive, relationship-driven, research-oriented, and energized by connecting exceptional people with meaningful opportunities. The Talent Research Partner helps strengthen EEI's recruiting capabilities through strategic sourcing, talent intelligence, market research, and personalized candidate engagement that reflects EEI's people-first culture and employer brand.


Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 / year

The above salary range is based on the Denver, Colorado labor market and subject to change based on location.


Location: Remote within 45 minutes of our Lakewood office. 


Essential Responsibilities:

Talent Research & Sourcing

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition Partners to develop and execute sourcing strategies for technical and non-technical roles.
  • Use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach to identify, engage, screen, and build relationships with qualified active and passive candidates.
  • Develop talent pipelines, sourcing campaigns, market research, talent mapping, and pipeline reporting to support current and future hiring needs.

Employer Brand & Candidate Engagement

  • Serve as a cultural ambassador for EEI, ensuring our values, professionalism, and people-first philosophy are reflected in every candidate interaction.
  • Represent EEI at career fairs, networking events, industry conferences, and recruiting initiatives as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, People Services, and hiring leaders to support recruiting initiatives and hiring priorities.

Professional Expectations

  • Approach challenges with a solution-focused, relationship-centered mindset.
  • Always handle sensitive information with integrity and maintain strict confidentiality.


Qualifications:

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, talent research, talent acquisition support, or a related recruiting function. 
  • Strong sourcing and talent research skills, including passive outreach and candidate engagement strategies. 
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, recruiting technologies, and sourcing tools across multiple channels. 
  • Ability to build candidate pipelines, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with candidates, hiring leaders, and recruiting partners. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and a relationship-centered approach. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive candidate and organizational information with confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity. 
  • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Experience supporting recruiting operations within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or ATS platforms; Paylocity experience is a plus.


Working Conditions:

Typical Travel: Minimal: 0%-15%, based on business needs

Work Environment: Typical office environment; occasional field interaction may be required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, work on a computer, and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
