This remote position allows you to bring your expertise directly to students in educational settings. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule between Monday and Saturday, allowing you the autonomy to design your week according to your personal needs and the needs of your clients. As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to identify strengths and needs.
• Conducting initial comprehensive evaluations to triage patient care effectively and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Documenting assessments, treatment modalities, and care plans accurately according to departmental guidelines, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to communicate effectively with other professionals.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Managing a caseload of assigned patients, collaborating with hospital and community resources to ensure holistic care.
• Completing ethical and timely documentation that meets departmental standards and supports effective patient management.

Our primary focus is on delivering mental health services within schools, where we support students facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will interact with diverse clients, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, adolescent, or family. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues, your role will be pivotal in fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

To thrive in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, adapting to client needs.

While we welcome all qualified applicants, experience working with school-aged children and adolescents or familiarity with educational systems will be seen as an asset. Experience in case management and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams will enhance your suitability for this role.
