• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that account for individual needs and circumstances.
• Engage in ongoing crisis intervention and develop proactive crisis plans and behavioral guidelines.
• Document clinical records efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Employ evidence-based practices and screening tools to inform treatment approaches and enhance patient care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to implement and adjust positive behavior support plans.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring our clinic meets the required standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to coordinate effective care.
• Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders to promote agency goals and enhance community engagement.
• Actively seek opportunities to cultivate professional growth through attending conferences, participating in task forces, and pursuing further education in mental health.
• Contribute to the agency's mission and values in every aspect of the role, and perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a varied patient population, including but not limited to individuals facing emotional health challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. • A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required, ensuring a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license recognized by the state board, verifying professional eligibility.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working in community health settings or clinics is highly desirable, as it fosters a deeper understanding of community-based care principles.
