• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis interventions, safety protocols, and positive behavior support strategies.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in adherence to regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with established measures in mental health care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, as determined by the clinical team, to identify client needs and measure outcomes effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and refine individualized behavioral support plans, fostering team synergy and ensuring comprehensive care.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating commitment to organizational standards and quality assurance.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies and local community partners, facilitating communication to enhance service delivery and resource collaboration.
• Engage in continuous personal and professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and relevant meetings to represent the clinic and enhance expertise.
• Promote the mission and values of Grace Hospital by actively participating in community outreach and service initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Clinic Director to meet clinic operations and client needs.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily serve a diverse client population, including individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, those recovering from substance use, as well as clients with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. A strong commitment to empathy and understanding will be essential in addressing the unique needs of these individuals, promoting their journeys towards wellness and recovery.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license issued by the state board to practice in Texas.
• Strong ability to maintain clinical records and generate detailed reports that meet documentation standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working successfully in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Effective communication competency, both written and verbal, to express ideas clearly and facilitate understanding.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make independent clinical decisions based on established professional knowledge.

• Experience working with a diverse clinical population, particularly in the areas of addiction recovery, developmental disabilities, or trauma-informed care.
• Prior involvement with community organizations and state agencies that support mental health initiatives.
• Familiarity with digital health tools and telehealth practices to enhance client engagement.
