Silver Linings Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this full-time position, you will engage with clients through mental health evaluations, tailored treatment planning, and various therapeutic interventions. Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and substance use issues. Working with a diverse client base, you will tailor your therapeutic approaches to respect cultural differences and individual circumstances, ensuring that every client receives personalized and effective care.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in Florida as an LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselors Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Proven clinical experience as a mental health counselor with a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage client data effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with clients presenting various mental health conditions, including co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Thorough knowledge of the effects of medications prescribed by other healthcare providers on mental health.
