As part of our collaborative team, you will engage in regular virtual meetings and case consultations to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to treatment.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients presenting with mood disorders, utilizing validated tools to evaluate symptom severity, frequency, and duration.
• Engage collaboratively with clients in creating tailored treatment plans that align with their unique therapeutic needs, wellness goals, and personal preferences.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood-related challenges.
• Provide psycho-education and ongoing support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Regularly monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring a responsive and personalized approach to care.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care that encompasses both psychological and pharmacological support.
• Stay informed about recent research and best practices in the field of mental health to continuously improve therapeutic approaches and client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and engage in professional development to advance knowledge and skills relevant to mood disorder treatment.
• Act as a client advocate, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues within the community.

• Ability to integrate psychopharmacological principles into counseling practices, collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Experience working in an outpatient setting or with diverse client populations facing mood disorders.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the use of digital tools for remote therapy sessions.
• Previous involvement in community mental health initiatives or advocacy work aimed at reducing stigma around mental health issues.
