This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule and the convenience of conducting sessions from a home office. However, our therapists will occasionally visit our outpatient office in Syracuse, New York, to attend team meetings, engage in collaborative care, and participate in skill-building workshops. • Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients to create a safe space for therapeutic dialogue.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities suited to individual or couple dynamics.
• Regularly evaluate and document client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to additional resources or specialists as needed, particularly for complex cases.

Your client base will encompass diverse demographics, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family conflict. As an LMFT, you will engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds and with varying mental health needs, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach. Our goal is to foster resilience in our clients, equipping them with tools to navigate their challenges effectively.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in mental health treatment methodologies and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage clients in meaningful therapeutic conversations.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and progress tracking.

• Specialized training in addiction counseling, particularly with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including knowledge of culturally sensitive practices.
• A history of collaborative work in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive mental health care.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer comprehensive benefits including:
