Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Leading virtual therapy sessions using secure online platforms, focusing on topics ranging from anxiety management to relationship counseling.
• Creating a safe and inviting atmosphere during online sessions where clients feel comfortable and understood while expressing their thoughts and emotions.
• Collaborating with clients to identify personal goals and creating actionable treatment plans to help them achieve these objectives.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment strategies and continuously adjusting approaches based on client feedback and progress.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions and therapeutic progress, consistent with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Engaging in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills and address any challenges encountered in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse set of clients, encompassing various backgrounds, ages, and unique mental health needs. Your role will be pivotal in addressing mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current licensure to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy and developing treatment plans successfully.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on establishing trust in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy tools to facilitate effective remote sessions.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences will be an advantage:

• Experience with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or veterans.
• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits
