• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to identify their mental health needs, strengths, and barriers to care.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, employing techniques suitable for managing acute situations related to substance abuse, trauma, and interpersonal issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique circumstances of each client, setting measurable goals for progress.
• Facilitate engaging and constructive counseling sessions using evidence-based practices.
• Provide psychoeducation to the clients and their families, informing them about psychosocial stressors and effective coping mechanisms.
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate clinical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome assessments, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, discussing shared cases and integrating diverse perspectives into treatment planning.
• Participate in regular workshops and training sessions for professional development while actively seeking feedback to enhance your practice.

The primary client population for this role includes individuals and families navigating a spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Our clinic serves a diverse demographic, ensuring staff members are equipped to provide culturally competent care tailored to the needs of different populations.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Proven experience in providing individual and group counseling services, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex cases effectively.
• Strong knowledge of mental health issues, treatment modalities, and relevant community resources.

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies will be beneficial.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods is a plus.
