Mercy Vale Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team on a full-time basis. This position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from your own home while connecting seamlessly with clients via telehealth platforms. You will utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions and monitor client progress. Although you will work independently, your contributions are integrated within a collaborative team framework, ensuring access to support and consultation when needed.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify their unique needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide regular individual and group counseling sessions, equipping clients with practical coping strategies to manage their mental health challenges.
• Track and document client progress utilizing EHR systems, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches for clients requiring medication management.
• Facilitate referrals to additional community resources, ensuring clients have access to supplementary supportive services as needed.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mercy Vale, you will work primarily with clients struggling with a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, substance use issues, and eating disorders. You will focus on strengthening client-provider relationships and fostering a safe environment conducive to personal growth and recovery.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health settings.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, evidenced-based treatment methodologies, and an ability to provide culturally competent care.

• Proven track record of delivering both individual and group therapy that is culturally responsive to diverse populations.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the capacity to manage and de-escalate high-stress situations effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to build rapport with clients from all walks of life.
• Experience in working within a telehealth framework and proficiency in using EHR systems and remote counseling platforms.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
