  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering patients opportunities to process their trauma, develop robust coping strategies, and enhance their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on advancing trauma-informed practices.
  • Stay abreast of research advancements and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients, many of whom are grappling with the impact of previous traumas. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and employ a range of therapeutic techniques that foster recovery. Our focus is not only on managing symptoms but also on empowering clients to reclaim their lives and develop lasting coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with an emphasis on a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and excellent computer skills.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience in mental health counseling or therapy, particularly in trauma-focused care.
  • Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions with various trauma survivor populations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools to ensure effective remote service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:

  • Competitive health care benefits covering medical, dental, and vision.
