Position Overview

Vibrant Minds Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team full-time. This role is key in providing high-quality mental health care via telehealth, allowing for flexible schedules while making a significant impact on the lives of our patients. Work Environment

This position operates in a completely remote setting, which allows you to connect with patients in the comfort of your own space while maintaining professional boundaries. You will engage with clients through video calls and phone consultations, utilizing telehealth tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage your caseload effectively. This flexibility can accommodate a work schedule from Monday to Friday, typically between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with some allowance for adjusted hours based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to accurately discern each patient’s unique challenges and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to support individuals, couples, and families in their healing journey.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and provide patients with essential coping skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and comprehensive care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, discuss treatment options, and connect them with relevant community resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation as required by legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations and training sessions to stay informed about the latest research in mental health therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities relevant to diverse patient populations.
• Strong skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and implementing effective therapeutic interventions.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with patients quickly.

Preferred Experience

• Proven track record of working successfully within a telehealth setting.
• Background in facilitating group therapy sessions and educational workshops.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth technology.

Compensation and Benefits
