Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, offering individual, group, and family therapy sessions that address a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate services and develop comprehensive care strategies that enhance client outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and therapeutic support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring safety and well-being through timely responses and empathetic care.
• Participate in community outreach efforts, such as organizing workshops and seminars, to educate the public about mental health issues and help reduce stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our Community Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role will be pivotal in addressing the unique needs of these populations, helping them navigate their mental health journeys with sensitivity and understanding.

Qualifications

• A current, independent, and active mental health license, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A master's or doctoral degree in fields related to Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Proven cultural competence and an understanding of the behavioral health disparities faced by various populations.
• Strong organizational abilities, essential for maintaining accurate patient records and meeting documentation requirements efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community mental health setting, treating clients with severe and complex mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits
