Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address a variety of issues including alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment to separation and divorce.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic practices and techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy, to support client growth and healing.
  • Provide referrals to specialized services or additional resources as needed to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
  • Document all therapy sessions accurately in client files in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.
  • Actively participate in continuous education and training opportunities to stay current with the latest therapeutic interventions and practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will include a diverse array of individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges, including but not limited to:

  • Substance abuse and addiction issues, looking for a supportive path to recovery.
  • Trauma, including physical and psychological abuse, requiring sensitive and informed care.
  • Grief over loss and life transitions, helping clients navigate their feelings and find closure.
  • Family dynamics and conflicts, including blended families and sibling rivalries, to foster healthier relationships.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues and a commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred experience includes:

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with diverse populations in outpatient mental health settings.
  • Experience in telehealth services and familiarity with virtual counseling platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive:
