Job description

Job Title:  Cloud Security Engineer- Vulnerability Management

Location:  Raritan, NJ  (Remote)
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain security policies, rules, and controls within Wiz to align with organizational security requirements
  • Monitor and triage security findings from Wiz, coordinating with relevant teams for remediation
  • Create and maintain documentation related to compliance controls and standards
  • Perform regular reviews of Wiz security findings and generate reports for stakeholders
  • Partner with cloud engineering teams to implement security best practices and resolve identified issues
  • Assist in incident response activities when Wiz identifies potential security issues

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Deep understanding of cloud security concepts, compliance frameworks, and best practices
  • Experience with cloud security tools and cloud-native security controls
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication abilities and experience working with cross-functional teams

Preferred:

  • Direct experience with Wiz platform
  • Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, etc.)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with healthcare compliance standards like HIPPA and HITRUST
  • Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD security integration
