Job Title: Director, Quality Assurance

Salary: $217,150.00/year

Job Duties:

  • Develop and execute the overallQA vision, strategy, and roadmap inalignment with productand engineering goals.
  • Build, scale, and lead a globalQA team, including onshore and offshore members.
  • EstablishKPIs, metrics, and reporting processes to measure softwarequality and teameffectiveness.
  • Design and oversee robust automated testingframeworks including UI, API, performance, and regression.
  • Ensure comprehensive performance/load testing strategiesare in place for high-volumeSaaS environments.
  • Oversee and improveCI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment.
  • Leverage AWS, Azure/OCI orGCP services to scaletesting infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-drivenQA tools to enhance testing accuracy, coverage, and speed.
  • Stay up to date onthelatest testing tools, frameworks, and trends-introduce best-of-breed technologies.
  • Work closelywith ProductManagement, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Support to ensure testcoverage and releasereadiness.
  • Collaborate with Regulatoryand Securityteams to meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and other compliance requirements.
  • Championquality and operational excellence bypromotingtest-first and shift-left approaches.
  • Continuously improve QA practices, tools, and team performance.
  • Use SaaS platforms inregulated industries including healthcare and life sciences to validate software quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Perform frameworks and load testing of cloud-based applications.
  • Apply knowledge in healthcare domains to ensure software meets industry-specific quality standards, patient safety requirements, and clinical workflow needs.
  • Manage distributed/offshore QA teams.
  • Perform automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using modern test automation tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG.
  • Use CI/CD tools and cloud platforms including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure/OCI and GCP to implement continuous testing pipelines, automate deployment validation, and ensure release quality.
  • Use AI-enhanced testing tools including Testim, Functionize, and Mabl.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards includingHIPAA and HITECH/HITRUST 2.
  • Use Kubernetes, Docker, container and networking expertise to accelerate test automation, improve test coverage, and reduce manual testing effort.
  • Test and develop terraform infrastructure scripts.

  • Domestic travel is required once per quarter for up to 3 to 4 days per trip.

Primary Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

Experience: At least five (5) years of experienceas a Principal Applications Developer, Lead Architect, Sr. QA Engineer, Product Test Engineer, Network Administrator, or a closely related occupation.

Alternative Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

Experience: At least seven (7) years of experienceas a Principal Applications Developer, Lead Architect, Sr. QA Engineer, Product Test Engineer, Network Administrator, or a closely related occupation.

Special Requirements: Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role.

Demonstrable knowledge and prior experience in:

  • SaaS platforms in healthcare, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries;
  • Performing frameworks and load testing of cloud-based applications;
  • Healthcare Applications testing;
  • Managing distributed/offshore QA teams;
  • Each of the following modern test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG;
  • Each of the following CI/CD tools and cloud platforms: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP;
  • Each of the following AI testing tools: Testim, Functionize, and Mabl;
  • Healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and HITECH/HITRUST 2;
  • Kubernetes and Docker;
  • Testing and developing terraform infrastructure scripts.

Travel Requirements: Domestic travel is required once per quarter for up to 3 to 4 days per trip.

Work Hours:Full-time, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
