As a cybersecurity engineer you will work side-by-side with clients that are changing the world across industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, finance, utilities, government, outdoor recreation, and everything in between! You will become a subject matter expert on bleeding-edge technology and solve problems even when you can't find the answer on an obscure Internet forum. Your work will protect sensitive data for thousands of patients, safeguard millions of financial transactions, and keep critical infrastructure operational. This role will own entire projects and engage with clients as their trusted advisor, driving forward critical efforts to strengthen their cybersecurity posture and ensure their data is secure. From forensic investigations to running workshops, we learn by doing. Sound like a lot of responsibility? You bet!

Some specifics:

  • Apply emerging technologies at all layers of the technology stack, including systems, networks, and applications
  • Analyze and improve infrastructure and application cybersecurity, performance, and availability
  • Draft high-value, detailed documentation on everything from technology reviews and incident findings to application vulnerabilities and cybersecurity program plans
  • Conduct periodic system and network vulnerability scans using tools such as Nessus, Nmap, and Wireshark
  • Analyze application and infrastructure security utilizing penetration testing
  • Investigate suspected cybersecurity breaches and run forensic investigations
  • Perform incident response and disaster recovery, including steps to minimize impact and restore critical operations
  • Help clients successfully integrate technologies such as AI into their business while providing guidance around security and privacy risks
  • Build relationships with existing clients and obtain new clients of your own, leading complete sales cycles, including proposal writing and closing the deal!
