Work Environment

The role of Licensed Professional Counselor at Guided Grace Psychiatry is primarily remote, which enables flexibility in your work schedule. While the core working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, occasional evenings or weekends may be necessary to accommodate client appointments, allowing for responsive care tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and establish baselines for treatment.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with the unique goals and circumstances of each client.
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate client growth and healing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive treatment across all aspects of a client's mental health journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in regular supervision, case conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Guided Grace Psychiatry, you will work with a diverse client base experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. Our clientele includes individuals dealing with not only general mental health concerns, such as mood disorders and anxiety, but also those affected by trauma, substance abuse, and significant life transitions. Your expertise will help these individuals navigate their emotional challenges and find effective coping strategies.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited program.
• A proven track record of conducting individual and group therapy within mental health settings.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
