• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders, taking a holistic view of client well-being.
• Develop customized treatment plans by collaborating with clients to identify their specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
• Provide education on self-care techniques and coping strategies tailored to each client’s circumstances, helping them to manage their mental health proactively.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to create a multidisciplinary support network for our clients.
• Ensure all client records are maintained accurately and in compliance with confidentiality standards as mandated by HIPAA regulations.

• A Master’s degree in counseling or a related mental health field is required.
• Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Empathetic and non-judgmental disposition, promoting a safe environment for clients to explore their issues.
• Proficiency in working autonomously while also embracing opportunities for teamwork and collaboration.
• Flexibility in scheduling to adapt to clients' needs, including availability for evening and weekend sessions as necessary.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including those with varying socio-economic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote counseling techniques is highly desirable.
• Specialized training or certifications in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on experience and caseload capacity. Alongside competitive pay, we provide a supportive environment that offers plenty of client referrals, reducing your workload. Additionally, our administrative team assists with billing and documentation to allow you to focus more on counseling.
