As an LCSW at Mental Aid Psychological Services, your daily activities will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients entering the detox facility.
• Crafting individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Implementing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address clients’ symptoms and support their recovery goals.
• Documenting clinical progress and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard client confidentiality.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care that is cohesive and effective.
• Engaging in case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss treatment strategies and improve care quality.
• Providing education and support not only to clients but also to their families about mental health practices and available community resources.
• Staying current with advancements in psychotherapy by reviewing research and integrating new findings into your clinical work.
• Managing a full caseload responsibly while ensuring all treatment objectives are met within designated timeframes.

Your work will primarily focus on clients in the detox phase, confronting both the psychological and emotional difficulties associated with substance use and addiction. You will provide empathetic care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their specific needs are met through customized therapeutic interventions. This role not only impacts the mental well-being of patients but also helps facilitate a smoother transition to further treatment options available post-detox.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Colorado.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, with a proven track record in delivering psychotherapy services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic techniques, including solution-focused approaches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with diverse clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills necessary for adapting therapeutic strategies to client needs.
• Ability to work effectively within a remote team environment, fostering collaboration and support.

• Experience working in substance abuse treatment or detox environments.
• Training in additional therapeutic modalities such as Motivational Interviewing or Family Systems Therapy.
• Proven experience in crisis intervention and management.
