Position Overview:

The Vice President of Sales, Healthcare is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy, execution, and revenue growth within the healthcare sector. This executive will build and manage a high-performing sales team, cultivate strategic relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, and develop tailored solutions to meet the needs of payers, providers, and health systems.

The VP will play a critical role in expanding market share, deepening client relationships, and aligning internal resources to serve complex healthcare customers effectively.

What you'll do as the Vice President of Sales, Healthcare:

1. Sales Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for healthcare sales, focusing on large health systems, payers, and/or life sciences clients.
  • Identify new market opportunities, evaluate trends, and define competitive positioning.
  • Own revenue targets, sales forecasting, and territory planning for the healthcare vertical.

2. Leadership & Team Building

  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of healthcare-focused sales directors, account executives, and client partners.
  • Establish performance goals and KPIs, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Provide coaching and development to grow individual and team capability.

3. Strategic Selling & Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key healthcare clients and prospects.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including RFPs, multi-stakeholder negotiations, and enterprise deal structuring.
  • Position company solutions as strategic value drivers aligned to client outcomes.

4. Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to develop go-to-market plans and customized solutions.
  • Provide voice-of-customer insights to influence product innovation and market messaging.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing client satisfaction.

5. Industry Expertise & Representation

  • Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador at industry conferences, trade shows, and events.
  • Stay current on healthcare regulations, trends, reimbursement models, and digital health innovations.
  • Represent the company in strategic partnerships, alliances, and client engagements.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales with at least 5 years selling into the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of driving multi-million-dollar deals in payer, provider, or life sciences segments.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including compliance, procurement processes, and care delivery models.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive relationship management skills.

Qualified Candidates can expect a salary range of $200,000-$225,000 + bonus.
