This role is set within a dynamic, remote work environment that prioritizes teamwork and support. You will collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team of professionals who share a common goal of improving mental health outcomes for individuals from various backgrounds. While the position is remote, you may occasionally engage in community outreach activities or team meetings either virtually or at our office base.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients, resulting in individualized and evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide therapy services using tailored approaches suited for individuals, families, and groups, addressing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Engage in regular collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care that is holistic and comprehensive.
• Offer crisis intervention services, utilizing your skills to support clients in acute distress effectively and compassionately.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Our community health clinic serves a diverse client base comprising individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have the unique opportunity to enhance your clinical experience while embracing cultural competence and sensitivity in your therapeutic approaches.

• Possession of an active, independent license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master’s degree or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients of varied backgrounds.
• Exhibition of cultural competence and sensitivity, adept in working with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic communities.
• Solid organizational and time-management capabilities to ensure proper documentation and timely follow-up.

• Experience delivering therapy in community settings, ideally within a clinic or healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and practices that cater to a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Background in crisis management and interventions to provide effective support during acute client needs.
