Overview
This role will require occasional travel to Syracuse, NY for training and meetings.
KPH and its affiliates are unable to provide any level of immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
Scope of Responsibilities: The Data Solutions Analyst will partner cross functionally to understand underlying business issues and will utilize technology and reporting to create tools/processes to create efficiencies. As a Data Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible to spearhead initiatives that eliminate manual work and repetitive tasks. You will also be assisting in impact and other financial analysis that will be presented to Senior Management.
Job Summary: You will transform and organize data sets, analyze data trends, and create digestible reports and visualizations. Partner with department leaders to analyze data elements to identify opportunities to optimize performance across these departments and provide summary findings to senior leadership team. Create automated solutions to improve efficiencies across departments.
Responsibilities
  • Provide team leadership and guidance to Data Solutions Analysts
  • Build out automated solutions using SQL to solve complex reporting and calculating needs.
  • Develop data pipelines to automate manual processes.
  • Reduce ad-hoc requests through development of automation and dashboards.
  • Provide and analyze dashboard reporting to help drive business decisions.
  • Recommend systems process improvements for various ProAct departments and ProAct Pharmacy Services
  • Collaborate with various department managers to identify, develop, and maintain reporting needs.
  • Perform various financial analysis such as impact reports, contract pricing analysis, and other ad hoc requests.
  • Support pricing department with analysis that identifies key trends and areas of improvement.
  • Analyze, develop, and present reporting on individual client performance to ensure contractual optimization.
  • Create tools with a user interface that will empower new users to run reports easily.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of applications and business processes.
  • Support sales operations with business opportunity target analysis and reporting towards sales performance.
  • Integrate with operations and develop process improvement roadmap.
  • Run reports in a supporting/backup role when needed.
  • Assist management with forecasting/annual budget.
  • Shares knowledge with peers and others and supports knowledge management efforts.
  • Participates in developing individual skill sets to meet today and tomorrow's business needs.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Job Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in SQL and other coding languages (Python, R, Java, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative ideology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desk tools such as Excel and Access

Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business or Computer Science

Experience:
  • Required: 3-5 or more years' previous experience in a related position
  • Preferred: 3-5 or more years' previous experience in the PBM or healthcare industry
  • Preferred: Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI
  • Must possess knowledge of security concepts applicable to this role and function.
