Rebuild Self Mental Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. • Provide virtual counseling services tailored to individual client needs, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate and execute personalized treatment plans, adjusting approaches as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective care.
• Document all interactions and treatment progress competently using digital tools and maintain compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate treatment efficacy and client satisfaction, adapting strategies based on quantitative and qualitative data.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with mental health trends and teletherapeutic techniques.

Your client base will include individuals from all walks of life, reflecting the diverse demographics of Alexandria and surrounding areas. This role requires cultural sensitivity and an understanding of how social factors influence mental health. You will work with clients who may face unique challenges, including those related to socioeconomic status, ethnicity, and access to resources, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on their well-being.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, including a minimum of two years in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effectively building rapport with clients in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital documentation software, ensuring seamless service delivery and patient care.

• Experience with telehealth services and familiarity with the specific challenges related to virtual therapy.
• Background in developing and implementing treatment plans based on thorough assessments.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating an understanding of cultural competencies in counseling.
